The brief
The shop needed a site that showed the current menu and let customers find hours, directions, and catering. The menu changes with the season, so editing it could not mean emailing a developer every time.
Work
A full multi-page website with an admin-editable menu dashboard, on a Firebase backend. The staff change flavors and prices themselves; the public pages stay fast and static.

The shop needed a site that showed the current menu and let customers find hours, directions, and catering. The menu changes with the season, so editing it could not mean emailing a developer every time.
A multi-page site: home, menu, catering, the shop’s story, news, and online ordering. Behind it, a dashboard where a staff member updates flavors, prices, and availability. The change shows on the public menu within seconds.
The public pages are static and served from a CDN, so they load fast on a phone. The dashboard writes the menu; the public site reads a published copy of it, so a visitor never waits on the database.
The dashboard is behind a staff login. The site sends a strict content-security policy, forces HTTPS, and the database rules only allow an authenticated staff account to write to the menu.
