1. Billing cycle

Care plans bill monthly in advance on the same date each month. The first charge is on the date the plan starts, which is after your site is delivered.

2. How your plan is priced

There are three care plans: Starter, Business, and Custom, each a fixed monthly price published on the pricing page. You choose one. Your plan and its price are stated in your client portal.

Where a discount has been agreed, it is shown as a percentage against the full price of your plan, and both figures appear in your portal so the discount is verifiable rather than asserted.

3. Changing your plan

You can move between the three care plans at any time, in either direction. A change is prorated: moving up charges only the difference for the remainder of the current cycle, and moving down credits the unused portion. You are never charged twice for the same month.

4. Cancellation

Cancel at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed. We do not prorate refunds on cancellation — you keep the service you paid for.

5. If a payment fails

This sequence is fixed, so there are no surprises:

  1. Day 0 — the payment fails. You are emailed immediately. Your site stays live.
  2. Days 1–7 — we retry the payment. Your site stays live.
  3. Days 8–14 — grace period. You are contacted directly. Your site stays live.
  4. Day 15 — if the balance is still unpaid and we have not heard from you, hosting is paused and the site shows a temporary notice.
  5. Day 45 — the account may be closed. Your data is exported and sent to you first.

Talk to us before day 15 and we will work something out. Sites are not taken offline over a failed card without warning.

6. What content updates cover

A care plan includes content updates: text changes, new images, new pages, seasonal updates, and price and hours changes. It does not cover building a new site, a full redesign, or custom development, which are quoted separately. If a request crosses that line, we tell you before doing the work, not after. Higher plans cover more update work each month; the detail is on the pricing page.

7. Support response times

Support is answered by the next business day, seven days a week, on every care plan. Higher plans get priority within that window. These are response times, not resolution times: a complex request is acknowledged inside the window with a realistic estimate.

8. Price changes

Your rate is locked when you sign up. If published prices rise later, you keep the rate you agreed. If we ever do need to change an existing client's rate, you get at least 60 days' notice and can cancel before it takes effect.

9. Discounts

Where a percentage discount has been agreed on your plan, it is applied to the monthly price and your invoice shows both the full price and what you actually pay. A discount stays in place for as long as your plan is active and unbroken, unless the agreement setting it up says otherwise in writing.

If your plan lapses for non-payment and is later restarted, a discount does not automatically come back. We will tell you before that applies.

10. Automatic renewal — please read

Your plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. The card on file is charged on the same day each month for the month ahead. There is no fixed end date and no separate renewal notice each month.

To cancel, use the Billing section of your client portal, or email aidenstewart@stewartsites.com from the address on your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. No reason is required, no phone call, and no retention conversation.

11. Taxes

Prices shown exclude sales tax. Where we are required to collect it, it is added at checkout and shown separately on your invoice.

12. Chargebacks

If something is wrong with a charge, contact us first. Most billing issues are a misunderstanding and are sorted quickly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may result in the account being suspended until the dispute is resolved, and you remain responsible for the underlying amount if the dispute is decided against you.

13. What a plan does not guarantee

A care plan buys the services described for that plan. It is not a guarantee of uninterrupted uptime, of any search ranking, of traffic, or of sales. Hosting depends on infrastructure providers whose outages are outside our control.

We do not offer service credits for downtime. If a provider outage is significant and prolonged, contact us and we will deal with it fairly on the facts.

14. If you cancel, you keep your data

On cancellation you may request an export of your site files, content, and account data, and we will provide it within thirty days. Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours. Data is retained for ninety days after cancellation in case you return, then deleted apart from invoices and records we are required by law to keep.
